Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are taking part in a Corporate Social Responsibilty project as part of an apprenticeship scheme with the National Nuclear Laboratory based in Cumbria. As part of the project we have aimed to raise £500 for the Keswick Mountain Rescue team. The money raised will help towards developments at the Keswick base to house specialist water rescue equipment.

A challenge we have set ourselves to help fundraise is to walk from Workington to Keswick on the 23rd of March. This route will cover 23miles and go over one of the “big 6” Lakes passes, Whinlatter.

As the Keswick MRT were primary responders to floods in 2005, 2009 and 2015 the development will benefit the team and any donations will be gratefully recieved.

Thanks.
