Story

Hi! I'm running the Great North Run for the second time, this time with much less preparation and many more injuries to keep me company over the 13 miles of sunny North East road.

I'm raising money for the National Maternity Support Foundation, or Jake's Charity. They are an organisation set up following the tragic stillbirth of Jake Canter due to the nearest hospital maternity centre being shut.

They have helped make vital advancements in maternity care, with bereavement services such as 'Jake's midwives' helping to support and offer counsel to parents and families when they need it most.

It is a charity very close to my mum's heart, and one which she is a patron of; any money you could donate would mean a great deal to her and myself.

Thank you, Jono x
