Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've wanted to raise money for Mind for a while, i feel now is a good time to do so. I want to do something that will really put me out of my comfort zone and what I know i'm going to hate.
For those people who know me and my family they will know why I've chose mental health. For those who don't here is a short reason why I've chosen to do this. In 2012 my step dad Ian (Cec) committed suicide. Before this happened there were no signs that he was struggling, he was a normal bloke going about life happy and well. A few months later, one of my friends from school (Brandon) also committed suicide by the same means. Before any of this happened none of us had even heard of this charity and i'm sure if we had heard of it both Cec and Brandon would still be alive today. Over the last 7 years I have faced my own battles within my own head.
We all have our own battles. It's ok not to be ok, someone will always listen to you, you are not alone
