Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

With everything going on in the world at the moment it has been impacted everyone in one way or another. But at this time, we need to help and support people however we can.

As most of you will know, Josh has acquired his mummy’s passion for horses and has been riding at Chigwell Riding Trust for over a year now. This setup is outstanding, the people are selfless and inspirational and if it wasn’t for the trust, Josh wouldn’t be able to ride each week. Riding for Josh and all the other adults and children at the centre, it’s not just physical exercise but it helps encourage speech development as well as many other things.

Currently the riding school is closed for the foreseeable - so no regular income as they are a charity - but the horses still need to be feed and cared for. It’s a worrying times for them to say the least.

So to help, Josh will be taking on the 2.6 challenge and walking 2.6km (or 1.6 miles) in his frame. Josh will know what his walking in aid of and will be happy that his made a difference. Because of Joshs cerebral palsy and tiring easily, the walk may take him a while but we are going to go at his pace and do a bit each day and will be sharing his progress on his Facebook page @justjoshjenk

If anyone is able to donate to the riding school that would be very much appreciated.
