Nexus NI provide support, education & counselling to survivors of sexual abuse, sexual assault, rape and associated trauma. Its services are available to both male and females over the age of 16. Nexus NI offers specialist support which helps survivors to rebuild their lives and overcome the trauma of the sexual violence and abuse.

Within Northern Ireland it is estimated that 1 in 4 people will suffer sexual abuse in their lifetime. Thousands of sexually violent crimes are reported to the PSNI each year, and thousands go unreported. Nexus NI have been working with sexual abuse survivors for over 30 years. Each survivor receives 16 weeks of counselling that costs roughly £1000 to provide, they rely on donations to continue to offer this service.
