We provide unconditional friendship, support and practical help to people in crisis and in need. We work with children, homeless people, all adult victims of modern slavery and those dealing with drug and/or alcohol addiction

Story

Last year I ran and completed the Birmingham City Half Marathon and this year's challenge is now to cycle from London to Paris whilst raising money for the Salvation Army.  Everyone is aware of them and they are an incredible organisation.

So I've bought a bike, a helmet (attractive as you can see above) padded shorts, cream to prevent sores and I even now know how to change gear.

Day 1 - 85 x miles, Day 2 - 95 x miles, Day 3 - 60 x miles, Day 4 - 50 x miles riding into Paris to the Champs-Elysees, then riding as a group to finish under the Eifel Tower.

Day 5 - we watch the finale of the Tour de France and head back to the UK in the evening.
