In memory of Mary Deacon

Story

I am doing this challenge in memory of a good friend of mine, Mary Deacon, who passed away in the summer holidays from metastatic melanoma (ie skin cancer which spread to other areas). She passed away well before her time leaving her husband, Ken, and 2 young children, age 10 and 6. Unfortunately there is no cure available for this particular type of cancer and much more research is needed. Mary was a lovely gentle and kind woman, and I will always miss her.

I have never cycled anything like this distance before, until I started training for the velo, and the longest ride I have done so far is 72 miles. I am really hoping that I can do 100 miles, but I know it will hurt a lot!

Please help me raise as much money as possible.
