Hello there,

Many of you will have already heard about the amazing charity Teens Unite and the adventure I am about to embark upon to raise money for them. 

For those who haven't it begins in February when I start ballroom dancing lessons for the Strictly Dancing Ball 2020 ... building up to a live performance in front of over 500 guests at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Saturday 13th June. 

Those of you familiar with my dancing will be aware this is not an insignificant challenge. Yet I absolutely jumped at the chance to join because it gives me the chance to raise money for a charity that works incredibly hard to help young people with cancer live their best life.

I have seen more than enough of what cancer can do to people - not only those who contract the disease but also those who love them. And to have a chance to do something positive towards making the experience better for even one person means a lot to me. It will be an honour to raise money for this excellent cause and I ask you all to help in any way you can.

Please note that due to COVID we have had the event postponed until Saturday 26th March 2022, we cant wait until we finally get to dance!

Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full. When you're faced with cancer, plenty of people will tell you what you can't do, but we show these young people what they can do; not letting the 'c' word hold them back or define who they are.
