Rather than sending flowers we would like donations to be given to Katharine House Hospice. This is where dad spent the final week of his life. It is a beautiful and peaceful Hospice, with private rooms that allow families to cherish the final days with their loved ones. We were able to surround dad with love and tell him everything we needed to say during the last days and hours.

The nurses and doctors who run the facility are quite possibly the kindest people we will ever encounter. They provided a level of care for dad that we will all be eternally grateful for. They managed his symptoms with medication so that dad felt no pain and could rest comfortably.

The environment that the Hospice have created made this truly unbearable situation more bearable because we could focus all of our attention on dad. Everything else was taken care of.

This service is completely free of charge. The Hospice is run as a charity funded 100% by donations, so please give generously.

We are heartbroken that dad has gone.
