Ryedale Special Families is a charity that supports the families of children and young adults with disabilities and special needs. My sister Diana and her son Ronnie receive help from this charity on a daily basis and the support they receive as a family is amazing.

Ronnie has many challenges to face but he receives care and support from the special people who work for this charity. Many other families are supported in the same way and hopefully I can raise some money to enable this great work to continue.

On 4th August I will be taking part in a 100 mile charity bike ride in London, following the route made famous by the cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics and finishing on The Mall in Central London. Training is well underway, with lots of very early morning rides and gym sessions to fit in around a busy family life. Hopefully I will be fit and ready for the challenge on 4th August!
