I had a sudden Spinal Stroke  in January 2014  which I was told is quite unusual, especially at my age (43). I was told by top Neurologists in Cambridge I was T6 Incomplete and it's a possibility I may never walk again but they suggested intense Physio as a way I may improve. They put my application in for Stoke Mandeville Spinal Unit and I was accepted and transferred in February. 

I was given the best mental, physical and medical care while I was there, which was of great benefit, as after five months in Hospital I'm now able to walk short distances on Crutches.   I have also been told I could have the ability to make further improvement with continued rehabilitation which is so comforting to know. 

My family and I can't put into words how grateful we are    and would like to keep raising AS MUCH as we can to help others to walk again, or at least improve their physical condition and mental well being.
