We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 16th April I will be walking across hot coals at Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff. I'm doing this for two reasons - Firstly, it's one of my 50 challenges in my 50th year, aka my #50shadesofbrave... follow my exploits on 50shadesofbraveblog.wordpress.com

Secondly, raising money for Stroke Association fits for me and I will be walking in memory of my wonderful grandmother Edna Phillips, who suffered a stroke in October 2008. The stroke stole her from us, and even though she lived another 14 months, she never regained her speech, movement or independence. A cruel way for such an active life to end.

Please donate what you can to help Stroke Association in their quest to educate people on avoiding stroke, acting quickly to prevent the most devastating after-effects of stroke and caring for those families affected by stroke.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
