We support work of local RSPCA Inspectors to improve the lives of animals in Essex

Story

Bella is a super sweet five year old Dachshund who has lived her life so far as an indoor dog.  Since Friday 21st February, she lost the feeling in her back legs.  She was signed over to the RSPCA when her owners opted to have her put to sleep.  The RSPCA try wherever possible not to euthanase any animal who can be saved.

Bella is currently at the Animal Health Trust where she has undergone extensive tests and surgery to remove a ruptured spinal disc.  At present, we do not know if Bella will be able to walk again, but the feeling has already begun to return to her legs, so we are hopeful.  The road to recovery will be long with strict rest and regular trips to the vet.  Costs are easily going to exceed £3500.

This appeal has been organised to raise the necessary funds.  Please help us to help her by donating whatever you can afford.  EVERY SINGLE POUND helps!
