Story

Paddy was our much loved son who died on 10th December 2015 in a car accident just outside Henfield. He was full of fun and laughed all the time. He was inspirational to many. His life was happy and we draw strength from the fact that when he died we were all in a very happy place. He touched many people with his kindness. He had done brilliantly to get his 2:1 in Mechanical engineering at Sheffield university and then to get onto the graduate scheme at Ricardos in Shoreham, West Sussex. He loved the outdoors - walking in the Peak district, kite-surfing on the South Coast, rock climbing, swimming in the sea, Duke of Edinburgh awards. He was always organising and motivating groups of people to do new and exciting things.

About the charity

CCHF All About Kids

RCN 206958
CCHF exists to provide severely disadvantaged children aged 7-11 with a range of residential activity, respite breaks and ongoing contact. The aim is to improve the quality of their lives, recognise their potential and achieve their goals in the safest possible environment. Since its inception in 1884, CCHF has helped over 2million children. Many of the children come from backgrounds including poverty, isolation, neglect and abuse, some are young carers or a sibling or parent and some have suffered from bereavement or family breakdown. Often, their natural play areas are rife with drugs, gang culture, violence and crime. We receive no statutory funding and rely totally on the generosity of our donors and supporters.
