Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have never done anything remotely like this in my life before. It's going to be a real challenge for me as I don't 'do running/water/mud/cold'! Going through a flowing river FOUR times, up to mid chest so I've been told.....ha bet they're not 5 ft nothing though...so ...chin level for me... and in April too! The biggest run I've done is the school run not 10K in the Lake District! Then add to that military obstacles, over 30 of them!

I've been a big supporter of St John's Hospice since high school and have experienced the care, support they offer in a lovely environment that is given to anyone who needs it free of charge. The problem is they are only funded partly by the NHS (approx 30% of operating costs). Therefore the rest has to be raised through the local community, which is a lot of money each year. So please support this by sponsoring me to do this event, it doesn't matter if it's £1 or £100 EVERY penny counts! Thank you so much and please dig deep xx
