Hi all, Today, 29th May 2022, I completed the Edinburgh Marathon with Jennifer (who smashed it!). I ran it in 4.09 and am now basking in the warm glow of success for just getting over the finish line in one piece! 

I kept it quiet from most people as I was, quite frankly, cra**ing myself! Anyway .... I did it!!! ... and now I'd like to offer my begging bowl to raise some money for my chosen charity 'Horseback UK'. 

So, why Horseback UK? Yep I know, I don't ride and have never had much to do with horses! However this charity is run by a friend of ours, Jock Hutchison, who served  in the Royal Marines with Andy for many years.

HorseBack UK is a charity set up to empower service personnel and veterans suffering from life-changing injuries and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and to aid them on their road to recovery.

Jock says "we believe that recovery is not just a clinical process, it's about getting someone back to where they're participating and able to contribute to the world again". 

Say no more really!
