We are setting ourselves this challenge in order to raise money to help fight a disease which has had an impact on nearly everyone both directly and indirectly.

A friend of mine was diagnosed during secondary school and very sadly passed away whilst we were at uni. I will never forget him, and he is often in my thoughts. The boys of Troy miss you, Joe. 

In April 2014 the football world was shocked by the death of Dylan Tombides. As a lifelong West Ham fan, I was aware of his condition, but the news of his passing shocked us both immensely. 

These are just two examples of people younger than us battling this awful disease. We want to help raise money to help find a cure.  We hope that you will join us in this journey. We aim to raise at least £600 that will go towards scientific research, and to the eradication of this horrible disease.
