Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
This is the second annual walk of the people of Le Preverger... the Penguins!!
Last year we walked in search of a long and savage lunch and after setting out at 6 a.m from preverger, near La Garde Freinet in the South of France, we walked 38 kms and arrived at club 55 on pamplonne beach 5 mins ahead of our 3 p.m lunch reservation!
On the way we took heed of the sound medical advice we had received and kept very well hydrated with wine and beer stops along the route!
Our efforts were rewarded with sore flippers, full bellies, but most importantly, enough sponsership money to put 4 christal house students through a full university degree programmes... something that will change their and the lives of their families, forever.
This year we set off at dawn on oct 4 in search of another lunch ... this time in La Mole .. approx 32 kms away... and this time the penguins will be doing it in fancy dress as kangeroos!! ( I promise that no illegal substances were consumed when planning this event!!)
Please help us support our charity and chip in so we can beat last years achievement and help more children and their families break the cycle of poverty.
Better still come and join us... penguins and kangeroos of all ages are welccome !!
