Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I recently added "trustee of the local branch of the RSPCA" to my list of extra-curricular activities, and also signed up to my first race in two years, so I thought I'd combine the two and ask for your support, pretty please...

Yes I've ran a lot in the past, yes it's "only" a half marathon, and yes it will probably end up being done remotely with me running round Dartford solo rather than amongst thousands in Hampton, but it's for such a good cause that I'm asking you to sponsor me anyway.

The Kent NW branch promotes animal welfare in a number of ways, including rescuing and rehoming around 200 cats, dogs and other small animals each year, encouraging neutering of cats and dogs, educating young people through visits to schools, and funding an equine rehoming facility. On a personal note, the recent new addition to my home has made me realise even more just how trusting and loving animals are, and the thought of any of them being in danger is heartbreaking.

If you are able to donate, my employer will kindly match anything you generously give. This means that if you give £10, thanks to gift aid and EDFT, the RSPCA will receive £22.50!
