Fundraising for SOAP
Story
"I want to do the same as last year. I want to raise money again. I want to helps kids have fun at SOAP, because it is one of the only special places nearby and kids love it. I think they shouldn't have to shut it down because they don't always have enough money to keep going, all year, every year. I just want to help them out. I just feel like I'm helping people and that makes me feel nice." Quote from Rozie.
Rozie's aim is to raise as much money as she can, by giving up all Christmas and birthday presents, instead requesting a donation to the charity, between now and her birthday in June.
The South Oxford Adventure Playground is a charity run by volunteers and play workers, who believe that all children, regardless of background, should have access to exciting outdoor play opportunities. They promote outdoor, active and inclusive play.
It is free and open to everyone. SOAP is a place where children can play freely, meet new friends and have fun in a natural and physically challenging environment. It offers an indoor and outdoor space where children can express themselves creatively and test themselves physically.
Thank you for any support you can offer. Every penny really does count, SOAP cannot survive only on fundraising events, it's a yearly struggle to raise enough funds to keep it open.
