Story
Katie and Ellie, both 8 years old, will embark on a sponsored cycle. Starting from Kirk Brae, Cults, Aberdeen they will cycle to the Duthie Park and then cycle back to Cults.
Both girls love animals and decided to do their Charity badge for Brownies. The girls visited Mrs Murray's Cat & Dog Home, and have put together a presentation to show family and friends in order to raise awareness of the charity. They want to help the charity by raising money as well, and so will do a sponsored cycle along the railway line on 13th or 14th April 2019 (or first weather permitting day after that – this is Aberdeen!).
Mrs Murray’s Cat and Dog Home is a charity which accepts animals to be re-homed from their present owners who, for a variety of reasons, can no longer keep them. Each year over 1500 animals pass through their doors - most abandoned or unwanted.
If you need to talk to them about accepting a pet you can no longer look after, or if you are interested in adopting an animal that needs re-homed, please visit their website, mrsmurrays.co.uk, or call the centre on 01224 483624.
