I am relatively new to running and very slow.  As I am approaching a significant age soon I wanted to set myself a challenge. Those of you who know me well know I like to punish myself often with challenges.  This I know will be tough but seems right- my mum was from Newcastle and the NMC has made huge difference to my brothers mobility after his recent op,

I know on the day I will be in pain - but it’s only a day (or 2)- the people the centre help are in constant pain and manage so bravely which will be my inspiration when the going gets tough.
