Story

Imagine a world in which all young people feel safe, feel heard and feel hopeful for their future. This is our mission at Mentoring Plus, and your donation will contribute to making this world a reality.

I am incredibly passionate about the work we do at Mentoring Plus. This is my first marathon and I'm feeling slightly nervous about it! Knowing that we are raising money to support the young people in our community will motivate me to get out and train on the dark, rainy evenings between now and April.

Factors like poverty, family breakdown, poor mental health and lack of role models means that many young people face major challenges every day. With your donations, we can support children and young people aged 7-21 across Bath and NE Somerset to overcome these difficulties. Trained volunteer mentors help young people talk through any challenges they may have going on in their lives. The demand for our service has never been higher, and we need more funding to be able to reach young people that need support. Any donation is hugely appreciated.

Please note that all money raised will be divided equally between Mentoring Plus and Genesis Trust.
