The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run is one of the most demanding events on the classic car calendar. Starting from North London on a Friday evening the cars drive through the night up to John O'Groats in Scotland, arriving in time for breakfast. After a day driving around Scotland they head South and again drive through the night into Wales and down to Cornwall arriving at Land's End for Breakfast on Sunday morning. The route then takes them through Dartmoor, along the South coast for a finish back in North London on Sunday evening.
A total distance of 2000 miles in 48 hours.
Because this event requires a reliable, high performance motor car my co-driver and I will be taking my 1963 Triumph Herald 12/50 Saloon.
