Stafford Half Marathon · 22 March 2015 ·
Anyone who knows me well knows what a big achievement running a half marathon will be for me. I've come a long way - only a couple of years ago I was nearly 18 stone, eating chips and cakes, and generally being a bit lazy! May 2013 was a turning point in my life and I decided to get fit.
And now here I am, about to complete a half marathon for a worthy cause - Katherine House Hospice, Stafford. I've got an ambitious fundraising target of £500, and I hope you can help me reach it!
Katherine House Hospice provides a range of services offering help, care and support for people will advanced life-limiting conditions across mid-Staffordshire. These conditions include Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, End Stage Renal failure and Cancer. All services are provided free of charge, so the Hospice relies on charity donations to carry out this important work.
Katherine House Hospice has touched my life in many ways. A very close family member was looked after by the Hospice at the end of their life, and I want to give something back now. Please donate.
