My brother's and sisters, in 2020 Team MC will yet again embark on another journey to Kenya to aid improvements towards the education system. 

An estimated 30% children in Kenya do not attend school. Most of these children are from deprived backgrounds where the day to day struggle includes the shortage of food, clean water, sanitation, and access to education.

Many children work on plantations in backbreaking work while others work in back street alleys in dangerous and horrendous conditions.

Children who cannot find work are often left with only the option to beg leaving them prey for traffickers. Schools provide a safe place for children to grow and learn. They are places where children can seek help, advice, and be inspired.

We will visit the infamous Nairobi slums where we will be working with children and families supporting them in building schools and madrassas. We will have the opportunity to help in the final construction of the school and to take part in various play activities with the children.

We will also be traveling to remote parts of Kenya where we will see and interact with the local community. We will first hand see the vulnerability of the people and work alongside us in developing new initiatives to help the community.
