Story
I was diagnosed with Lymphoma (hodgkins) in December 2014, after dealing with the shock and preparing myself for my gruelling treatment, I decided I had to keep myself as positive and focused as possible, so came up with the idea to complete a challenge for every month I receive treatment which fingers crossed will only be six months.
As well as keeping myself focused I feel this is a great way for me to create awareness to the cause and also help by giving back in the way of raising funds and awareness.
I have put down I wish to raise £100 as it requests me to do so but I wish to raise as much as possible and I am grateful for all your help.
My 6 Challenges
1. Acknowledging that I have CANCER (the toughest of all) COMPLETED
2. Shaving my Hair Off as it is falling out due to the Chemo ( anybody that knows me knows I love my hair and this is hard being a salon owner at www.abstracthair.co.uk ) (Youtube video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=QCixJ9ligcg ) COMPLETED
3. Climbing Snowdonia June 13th 2015 (maybe a small challenge to some but under treatment it will be difficult) COMPLETED
4. Zipline Velocity 17th May 2015 (Longest Zipline in the Northern Hemisphere and fastest in the world) COMPLETED
5. Ride For Roses Clatterbridge 50 Mile Cancer Cycle 6th Sep 2015 COMPLETED
6. Mauchline (Scotland) to Wallasey (England) April 2016 COMPLETED
Also I plan to complete a sky dive once I am in recovery as my doctor won’t allow me to do this whilst under going treatment.
I am grateful for all the support you can give xx
