Story

So we’re back again…….

And this time we thought it might be a good idea to launch a
joint challenge for 2018.

Since Kerry started running back in 2012 he’s completed six
marathons and a couple of ultras, which we don’t think is too bad for
somebody who expected his first 10K to be his one and only attempt at distance running. And after every single one he’s vowed “never again”.

But the memory of the pain fades, of course, which is why he’s going to have a go at completing a further 12 marathons in the next 12 months. Not exactly Eddie Izzardesque…….but given a full time job and a full time family we reckon it’s about the best he can offer.

Plus, in a massive gesture of solidarity, Kathryn has pledged to run 12 half marathons during the same period. Which given that she’s
reluctantly only completed two in the past is, we think, not too shabby.

Once again we’re going to run in support of the wonderful
Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK who continue to support and inspire our family's attempts to deliver the best possible care for our now 7 year old foster daughter. They really do deserve every penny you're prepared to donate.

Thank you all.

Prader-Willi Syndrome is a chromosome disorder which causes
a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms. Its defining
characteristic is a constant feeling of hunger which can never be satisfied no matter how much the sufferer consumes.
