My 49yr old sister has currently been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer and as a result is undertaking chemotherapy treatment at Glangwilli hospital, as an outcome of this and being a family member I have put it upon myself to raise awareness of this terrible disease that affects so many families. This and several other cancer conditions undoubtedly brings sadness and fear to families and friends. Although my sister has of what we believe is a 95% chance of overcoming this terrible disease, unfortunately some people have less so it is imperative that the treatment they receive is always available instantly. Tenovus and Macmillan have shown such great support to my sister through this difficult time, therefore as a result I feel that it is important to raise money as a contribution towards Tenovus, in order for them to help others who will sadly need it in the future. One of the affects of undergoing chemotherapy is the loss of hair and due to this I have put it upon my self to grow a beard for the very first time for a sponsored shave on 25th April 2015 at The Trewern Arms,  along with an auction of promise. Please give generously to help towards other unfortunate families who have to go through the unknown of such a terrible disease.
