Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 15th of August I will be embarking on the 177 mile walk from Chepstow to Prestatyn along the famous Offa’s Dyke path. Being at home for 4 months has built a need for me to push myself and this is a challenge which I have always wanted to do. The walk itself will total around 25 miles a day, for 7 days, and spans the length of the English/Welsh border. It passes through eight different counties and crosses the border between England and Wales over 20 times.
As a part of the challenge I’ve set a target of raising £500 for Romanian Rescue Appeal, a charity which means a lot to me. We rescued Otis through RRA over 10 months ago now and he has undeniably changed our lives for the better and hopefully this will be a way of giving back, so thank you in advance for any donations that you are able to give.
Romanian Rescue Appeal was set up in 2014 by Lindsey Church and they currently have over a thousand dogs in their care. The shelters which they run often see dogs left in plastic bags outside the front gates, and volunteers are regularly saving dogs from kill shelters who have no other chance of hope without RRA. The work they do is simply incredible. Everyone at RRA is a volunteer, so every penny that you are able to donate will go directly to feeding their dogs and treating them for the injuries they have received during their time on the streets.
Thank you all, Kieran
