Story

Myself and my running buddy Lyndsey are going to challenge ourselves and increase our miles we run weekly . 

Let’s see how far we can go and how much we can make for  NEH ( North East Homless ) 

This won’t be easy , coz we like our beer ! We will show you our travels along the way .

We would LOVE to make a tidy amount for this wounderful charity … SO HOWAY - dig deep , Homelessness and hardship can happen to any of us .

About the charity

In 2014, our founder, Brian Burridge, set up a Facebook group called North East Homeless. The group brought the North East community together to donate items such as sleeping bags, food, clothing, all in support of Homeless people in the Newcastle City Centre. North East Homeless became bigger than Brian imagined, the community spirit inspired him to formalise NEH and apply for Charity status. Then, in November 2016, North East Homeless became a CIO with the vision and direction of supporting people who are or have experienced Homelessness and/or Poverty.
