Anyone who knows me well knows that I like a social tipple, or two or three! After over indulging over the festive period I decided that I would challenge myself to not drink anything alcoholic for 4 weeks in order to raise awareness & support for a local drug & alcohol rehab.

If people with serious addictions can change their whole lives around then I can surely give up alcohol for a while!

I am hoping that people will sponsor me to help raise money, and also awareness for The Ley Community who have been saving lives for over 40 years!  It truly is a magical & inspirational place!

Together, we all need to understand that most addicts have had extremely traumatic lives & have turned to alcohol and drugs to self medicate as some things are just too painful to talk about!  We need to support & encourage these individuals who are attempting to break addictive habits in order to become clean, free & get back into the community with jobs & new hopes & dreams!

Please support my dry spell & help me to lose the stigma associated with drink and drugs.  Instead we should admire them for changing not only their own lives, but also those of their nearest & dearest!!!!

I know this time of year can be hard financially for a lot of people, but every little helps, it really does, and it is for such a wonderful cause!

I cannot thank you enough in advance, this charity means so much to me & to those whose lives it has changed & will continue to change!
