Story
National Animal Welfare Trust is a rescue and rehoming charity; caring for and rehoming up to 1300 animals a year. They care for animals who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own, bring them back to good health, train them and finally find them a loving forever home. They never stop caring and are there as long as an animal needs them, offering continued support to everyone that rehomes a pet. Their mission is to promote responsible pet ownership throughout the UK so that one day every pet might have the responsible owner they deserve.
To help raise money so that NAWT can continue to do outstanding work, I will be flying out to Tanzania on the 30th June to the 12th July to climb mount Kilimanjaro this will be a high endurance challenge taking 8+ days of continuous trekking up to 14+ hours a day with no showers or toilet facilities!! the mountain becomes very cold at night and on summit night, will fall below freezing as low as -20c!
I have two amazing trainers, Kimon Demetriou and Oli Rodgers who are helping me train!
I am also tackling the UK's 3 peaks in 24hours the month before MK kindly joined by Jamie Mullins in preparation for the big one!
All this is will be so worth it to raise money to help better the lives of animals in need.
Both of these events have been self funded by myself , so all money raised will go straight to NAWT.
TY.
