We found out that our son Lathan had a severe case of plagiocephaly when he was four and a half months old. I researched the condition online and found that the best treatment for him was a TiMband, but unfortunately it wasn't available on the nhs. We had to raise the £2000 needed ourselves. The local community donated for us to do a fundraiser but before we had chance we were sent a guardian angel. The whole amount needed was donated by someone who had heard about our story. Amazing !!!
Lathan has now had his TiMband on for almost 8 weeks and the amount it has helped him is unbelievable. You almost can't tell he ever had a problem and will have soon completed his treatment.
Unfortunately there are other families out there who are not as fortunate as us and need help raising the funds for their babies. So we are doing the fundraiser for all the families that need help and donating all proceeds to the charity Headstart4Babies who help with support and funding for them.
