Alzheimers, Dementia and mental health issues are underfunded and undervalued. This years festival aims to raise at least £2,000 towards supporting and funding the work of local charities.  

It is an issue that is very close to Steve and I.  Both our families have been affected in different ways, so we recognise the need for greater support not only for sufferers but also the families who support and care for their loved ones every day of the year.

Approximately 4,000 people at the LIVE in Barnsley FREE Music Festival each year and we hope you will once again demonstrate the generosity of Barnsley people and donate to this worthy cause.  If each person that attended donated only £1 we would achieve our target twice over.
