Story
I love our wild places and the wildlife within them, and this summer I am fulfilling a long held dream to walk one of the great trails of the world, the Alpe Adria trail: over 400 miles, from the heights of the Hohe Tauern national park in Austria, through the Triglav national park in Slovenia, to the Adriatic coast at Muggia in Italy. The trek involves 37 days of walking and over 23, 000 metres of ascent and descent.
I'd love to use my trek as an opportunity to raise money for a cause dear to my heart. Please help me to help the pangolin population from destruction.
All eight species of pangolin, an endearing little scaly mammal that lives in Asia and Africa, are under threat like never before. This harmless little animal- one that you rarely see in zoos because they are so hard to keep in captivity- has the unfortunate accolade of being the world's most trafficked animal. An estimated 200,000 were killed in 2019 alone for their scales, which are believed in some parts of the world to have medicinal properties. In reality, killing pangolins is massive business, gruesome and unnecessary, and without action they are likely to become extinct. Fauna and Flora International is a well established conservation charity that is working hard to monitor pangolin populations, prevent and deter trapping and trafficking, and educate.
If you would like to help support me in raising money to help save pangolins, please donate using this page.
Thank you so much , and please do follow my blog

Let's all do all we can to help stop the traffickers and save these beautiful creatures.
