Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page and sponsor our chosen charity.

12 months ago, we thought it would be a great idea to sign up for Tough Mudder ... clearly we had all lost our sense of reality. It's now just over 9 weeks to go and the training regimes are yet to start; except Adrian who has be swotting up for months now. You would think he would therefore put the rest of us to shame; unfortunately the training regime isn't as effective whilst still eating five doughnuts a day! Despite the short timescale, we are now going to man up so we can claim our free finishing pints and most importantly, support a local and very deserving charity; Martin House Hospice.

The aim of Martin House is to provide family led care for children with life shortening conditions. It is a place where children, young people and their families can come to stay from time to time along their journey and find support, rest and practical help. Here is a link to their website for further details of their good cause:

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please make sure if you are tax payer that you select 'Gift Aid' to ensure the charity receives as much money as possible.

About the charity
