I thought the great west Run was a challenge but this is really going to be a challenge.....

As a midwife I’ve seen the devastation pre eclampsia can cause, I’ve met some beautiful sleeping babies, I’ve seen women fighting for their life and I’ve seen the families go through unexpected heartache and hell at a time when you don’t expect it. 

As a mum to 2 beautiful boys.... I have also personally experienced pre eclampsia, both emergancy deliveries, both boys ended up on the neonatal unit. But I am so lucky to have had an amazing midwifery and obstetric team who’s early intervention and care meant that we were safe. 

Every 6 mins a women dies due to pre eclampsia. 

Please help me raise as much for this amazing charity  and spread awareness....
