On Sunday 26th October 2014, I  am going to run the Leicester half marathon for UNICEF. Running a half marathon is a pretty big step for me.  Back in March 2014 I could not even run for more than two minutes! So here goes!!

There were so many charities to choose from to fund raise for, but I chose UNICEF because they focus on the fundamental rights of the child: to be happy, to be healthy and to be safe, no matter where in the world they live. And I truly believe this. We all know of the poverty and hardships families face every single day in the world. Knowing I can help in some very very small way is what's going to help me put one foot in front of the other and cross that finish line. 

Any donation, no matter how small will help a child somewhere.
