All I have ever wanted to do in my life is help others. I have taken part in charity events before, donated money, food, clothes, volunteered and this will be the second time I have shaved my head for charity. 

I have always liked animals but I would say it was in the past 2 years that I have really found myself adoring each creature on this planet, making a conscious effort to ensure no harm comes to any animal through any lifestyle choice I make. My life is no more important than another animals lives and this is something that I think as humans we often forget. 

Willows Animal Sanctuary is a charity that I adore. They do not exploit there animals for profit, all the money they have goes towards looking after animals. Saving them from slaughter, abuse and more. Recently I spoke to them about how they were struggling financially and may not be able to get everything they need to look after there animals through the winter months and I could not stand by and let this happen. I am not rich so cannot donate lots of money out of my own pocket but what I can do is fundraise by once again shaving off all of my hair. Not going to lie, it has took me a while to grow it to a length that I love and I will miss my hair but at the end of the day it is only hair and it will grow back. If this simple gesture will help this wonderful charity to look after and continue to save animals then it is worth every strand of hair I will lose. 

As humans we do so much to our planet that makes it difficult for animals to survive, we make daily choices that affect their lives and sadly they do not have a voice to speak up for themselves so someone needs to speak up for them. Willows Animal Sanctuary give every animal a voice and I hope this personal fundraiser will allow me add to this voice. 

I will be shaving my head on Halloween- who knows maybe I will do it in costume- just in time for them to get the funds for the winter months.
