As many of you know, I have been working for the charity Grief Encounter for the past six years. Founded by my friend Katie’s inspirational mum Shelley Gilbert 17 years ago, the charity helps to support bereaved children through the hardest times of their lives, following the death of a mummy or daddy, sister or brother.

I get to see first-hand every day the amazing work that we do, but without sponsorship and fundraising Grief Encounter would cease to exist. Therefore, I’ll be doing the Three Peaks Challenge in September to raise money that will go towards supporting many more children who are in need of our incredible services.
