Story
In January 2018, after two years of fighting the toughest fight, my Auntie Denise Bryson sadly lost her battle to Oesophagael cancer. Throughout my auntie’s diagnosis, she showed incredible resilience, strength beyond words and above all else her positive attitude and outlook on life were commendable. She lived each day to the full and always saw the positives in everything that came her way. She was an incredibly unique individual who was always thinking of others.
In her honor, I have signed up to run the San Francisco Half Marathon in July 2018. I aim to continue to raise awareness about Oesophagael cancer detection and preventative work carried out by the Oesophageal Patients Association in Northern Ireland (OPANI). If you would like to donate by giving whatever you can, please click the donate button below. No donation is too small and can really make a difference towards the amazing work that the Oesophageal Patients Association do. The more people that know about this association, the greater their impact, so please spread the word.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot to my family and I.
