Story
I decided to volunteer with the Oxfordshire Association for the Blind in the summer of 2020 and have enjoyed being part of their befriending scheme which has been a life line for many blind and visually impaired people across the county especially in the past year. I myself am blind in my left eye so this is a cause that is close to my heart. The OAB support people living with sight loss in many other ways and I would encourage you to visit their website to see the range of things that they do.
Oxfordshire Association for the Blind (OAB) is committed to enabling all adults and children living with Sight Loss in Oxfordshire to live their lives as independently as possible. We do this by offering Information & Advice, Equipment, Counselling, Training & Education and Social Opportunities.
