Story

Hi all,

The Stubbington Ark is an RSCPA centre covering 400 sq.miles including the Portsmouth and Southampton area, where animals can take refuge and heal until they are re-released or ready for rehoming. Mike and I have spent 90%+ of our weekends at this shelter since November 2014 volunteering to care and walk the dogs that are waiting to be rehomed. The Ark provides care and rehoming for all manner of animals, domestic, wildlife, farm stock and exotics and there are usually more than 500 animals on site at any one time

Raising money is so important for the Ark, it costs £3196 to keep the shelter running every day and they receive only a minimal amount from Head Office which means most money comes from fundraising.

Mike and I spend our time walking the dogs, playing with them in the play areas or simply giving them a cuddle whilst they wait for their forever home to come along.

Please donate whatever you can to either of these amazing charities.

Thanks in advance!
