If you've seen me in person over the last few months, you will (hopefully) have noticed the addition of significant facial hair.
This is the first time I've grown a beard, but I've recklessly decided to jump in at the deep and have entered the British Beard and Moustache Championships 2014 (http://www.tbbmc.co.uk) in September. I'll be competing in the "Business Class" category: http://www.tbbmc.co.uk/pages/full-beard
The competition is in aid of two excellent charities: http://www.tbbmc.co.uk/pages/charities-supported. My entry fee (and that of my wife and daughter who are both also entered, in the "Best False Beard" category) will already be split between both charities, but I've decided to try and raise some extra money on top of that for the Depression Alliance.
