Story
In January I took on the challenge of walking 1609km/1000 Miles in a year – boots on - so over and above my normal walking. As I started this challenge the war broke out in Ukraine.
Friends encouraged me to walk for charity and I decided to raise funds for Clowns without Borders and their mission 'Project Laughter' to help the children from Ukraine traumatised by the war.
This year the clowns have travelled to the neighbouring countries of Ukraine to provide mental first aid to children who have had to leave everything behind including family members and who are now trying to rebuild their lives. The situation continues to be critical and children still need help, so please donate if you can. Thank you!
