Night Photography Workshop - Part III
I’ve accepted the @CanonUK #selfieless challenge and I wanted to put my skills to the test and host another Levanterman Instameet. Except unlike the Part I and Part II where I ran the workshops for my love of Photography, @Instagram and the community, this time Canon UK has kindly agreed to loan me 5 cameras (DSLRs and Powershots) to make this Night Photography workshop amazing for you, and you to get off the ground in the world of Night Photography & Long Exposures. The meetup is aimed at people who only use their phone to take photos but would like to progress into Night Photography. I remember when I was at this stage in my photography journey , I didn’t know which camera to buy, which make, which model and then how to use the camera when I finally bought it. I’d like to invite people who would like to try some night shots and myself and my good friends (Jose and Femi - thanks for helping) will help you learn the basics. I have chosen a charity close to my heart….and I’d like support the Baby Special Care Unit (BIBS). I’m like to ask guests to donate £10/£20 so we can help them make a difference (totally optional). We’ll also supply Tripods, all you need to do is bring an SD Memory Card to put into the cameras. Depending on how many people apply, I may hold 2 events. This event is also open to people who have a DSLR and would like some tips to progress further. Please email me if you are interested, the event will be Tuesday 6th December.
Also donation has been made on our behalf to the Red Cross (The charity which Canon is supporting) by @CanonUK which is amazing, for taking part in this #selfieless challenge, many thanks Canon, very generous . THANK YOU.
