Thank you for dropping in here.

So on April 16th 2022 myself and three other friends embark on a challenge.

We are going to complete the national 3 peaks within 24 hours.

This will cover 23 miles of walking, from base to peak over 3 countries within 24 hours.

I'm certainly not someone who walks the hills of Wales, but I regard myself as fit and healthy, so its certainly going to be a challenge I look forward to taking on.

I have a friend flying over from illionios just to climb these peaks! he's actually the reason why I'm doing this. The other two are good friends of mine and old school mates who also jumped to the chance to do this.

I would like to raise as much money as possible for cancer research at Cardiff University, my work place. Researchers and clinicians here research all areas concerned with cancer – searching for breakthroughs that help to improve care and save lives of people affected by the horrible C word. This cause is personal to myself and many others who have been directly and indirectly affected.

At Cardiff University, scientists are researching what happens in the body that causes cancer, through to developing new and better treatments and therapies to treat and hopefully cure cancer. They are also investigating how to care and support patients and families living with cancer from their diagnosis and beyond, and how to prevent cancer from happening.
