At the same age I am now, my dad had a cycling accident that left him permanently disabled. There was a high chance he wouldn't live and little chance he'd ever walk again. Thankfully, he did both. Every day he overcomes challenges linked to his disability & by doing this ride I want to show him that he's an inspiration to me, and draw on his strength to overcome my own challenge. I'm aiming to raise awareness about wearing a cycle helmet by supporting Headway: The Brain Association's 'Use Your Head' Campaign and raise money for Kick4Life FC who use football to give a generation of young people hope. Lesotho has the world's 2nd highest prevalence of HIV (1 in 4). More than 160,000 children have been orphaned. That has to change. Kick4Life is making a difference. Please help them continue to.
