Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Okay, here we go. It's not a real story ... but my confession is that I'm not a 'real' runner. I don't even love running but I've secretly began enjoying it and suddenly I've accidentally signed up to run a marathon in Paris as my friend Nas thought it was a great idea. That's a whole 26 miles!
For the past 2 years, I've stumbled into this world where I've started going to park runs (just got my 50th t-shirt, yay!) without having any stopping time to completing my first 10k and then a half marathon in 2018 - again, without a break. So Paris, here I come charging at my snail pace!!
🧡Why donate to the Williams Syndrome charity?
So, now I've signed up to my first proper mara' I've realised that just as my training needs a proper plan, I also want to raise awareness and money for Williams Syndrome, a charity that's very close to my lovely friend Laura's heart. I confess, I don't know much about WS but I know it would mean a lot to my friend and her gorgeous son if more people became aware about WS.
* So, go on, chuck in a tenner or forty.* Rest assured while I stumble in at 4.5 hours (don't hold me to it) over that finish line, I'll have given it all alongside my Strava, my bright trainers, the icky gels combined with all the inner dialogue and pain that's been powered on by your generosity!
Thank you! 🙏
